Market Overview
The need to comply with regulations and legislation requirements has seen an exponential increase in the number of industrial coding and marking inkjet systems currently being used to code best-before dates, batch numbers, price, barcodes onto fast-moving, non-stop production lines. The demand for such systems has lead to the development of a number of innovative non-impact coding machines by the industries leading companies including Videojettm, Dominotm and Imajetm. Applications range from coding a best-before date on the base of a can of beer, to the marking of a piece of lumber prior to entering the saw-mill. The hardware must be versatile to cope with such an array of applications, however the determining factor of success is, if the ink is upto the job.

ITL Products
Continuous Inkjet (CIJ)
The ITL range of compatible small-character solvent inks is extensive with a large selection of MEK, Ethanol, Mixed Alcohol, Ethyl Acetate, Acetone and water-based products suitable for the majority of printers, both new and old.
Drop-on-demand (DOD)
The DOD range of products includes water-based inks for carton, paper and other porous substrate coding applications and solvent based inks for coding non-porous products where a fast drying time and good adhesion is essential. ITL manufacture and supply DOD inks for all the main printer manufacturers equipment including, Reajettm,,Videojettm/Marshtm, Alphadottm, Dominotm, Loveshawtm and many others.
Impulse Jet (Piezo)
For systems utilising the Xaartm, Tridenttm and OTTtm piezo-electric printhead technology ITL have a wide range of solvent, glycol and oil based products to satisfy those applications where finer resolution and the option of colours are required.
