Mutoh’s Toucan 87” 6-colour printer is a solvent-based inkjet printer, extremely suitable for heavy-duty outdoor applications.

The Mutoh Toucan 87" covers a wide variety of digital printing applications such as truck, van and car advertising, mobile billboards, building & construction announcements, public transport advertising, floor graphics, illuminated signs, posters, banners, etc.

Because Toucan inks are waterproof and highly abrasion and UV-resistant, printed images can last outdoor for up to five years, without lamination. Moreover, the solvent-based double density inks will allow users to create signage on a wide selection of low-cost uncoated materials, such as scrim vinyl, PVC adhesive film, banner, backlit, mesh.

The Mutoh Toucan 87" printer uses the very latest developments in drop-on-demand piezo inkjet technology and comes standard with an automatic motorised roll-off/roll-up system for heavy media rolls, a 20.3 Gb hard disk, a digitally controlled media drying system and 3 l ink bottles refillable on-the-fly, for high-volume production of prints.
