PANTONE® Color Matching
Onyx ProductionHouse includes the full licensed PANTONE Color Library. Spot color matching is easy because more accurate PANTONE spot color matching happens automatically during processing. The Onyx RIP recognizes PANTONE named colors in PostScript or PDF files and matches the colors as closely as possible. ProductionHouse also includes a media profile gamut report that shows you just how close your media can match each PANTONE color. The included Media Analyzer tool also shows you what PANTONE colors are inside and outside of gamut of new media before you calibrate or profile them, allowing you to easily and quickly qualify new media.

Ink Usage Tracking and Reporting
ProductionHouse Version 7.0 allows you to obtain ink usage and cost estimates on any job before printing. You can also view ink costs in the RIP-Queue’s job log. This innovative feature shows each ink channel usage and estimated cost and works with all dot patterns.
